Co-op

Co-operative Education is an experiential method of learning that gives students an opportunity to work outside the school while earning school credits. This unique program allows students to explore a career of interest, develop job skills, obtain career-related practical experience, gather references for a resume and develop attitudes in making a successful transition to the workplace, college, or university. Students can earn two or four credits for a job placement out of school. Co-op is available in every senior division subject area at the grade 11 or 12 level. Students must successfully complete the in-school link-up course in the previous semester or concurrently with the Co-op course.
