The Alternative Education program, Crossroads at Woodbridge College, is developed for students who are deemed to be at risk and who are experiencing difficulty dealing with the multi-teacher, multi-class delivery system.
The alternative student deals with fewer adults in an environment where there is more time for individual attention in the areas of social, emotional and academic achievement.
Students attend class(es) in the morning, taking one family studies course (HIP3E or HIR3C). For the remainder of the day, students attend their co-op placement. Each student must find their own placement as well as provide their own transportation to and from work.
